Happy Birthday to the Gucci Loafer

The Gucci loafer has turned 60! To celebrate, the Italian label has released the 1953 collection. The famous shoe which has been a Hollywood favorite for years is now slimmer and brighter in an array of colours but still thankfully features the iconic horse bit. I’m loving the Gucci “Forever Now” icons of heritage advertising campaign. Perfectly classic!

Still made in Italy, my favorite is the canvas print flora edition. The loafer adds a tomboy touch to your wardrobe and goes with anything, from jeans and a shirt to your favorite black dress.
60 years a classic. I love them!
